Our Mission: Supporting Emergency Communications in Johnson County, AR

Johnson County ARES provides vital communication support during emergencies, ensuring coordination and reliable information flow when traditional systems fail.

The Johnson County, Arkansas Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) group is open to all licensed Amateur Radio operators. You do not have to be an ARRL member to join. While Johnson County ARES is a non-governmental group, we do work closely with the Johnson County Auxiliary Communications (AUXCOMM) group that is part of the Johnson County Department of Emergency Management and most Johnson County ARES members are also Johnson County AUXCOMM members.
